Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture is a treasure of Chinese national culture and the key to unlocking the treasure-house of Chinese civilization. General Secretary Xi Jinping has sent many messages to TCM practitioners, encouraging them to promote TCM to the world. In order to further explore and summarize the strategies and practices of TCM “going global” under the background of globalization and digital-intelligence, so as to help build a human health community, as well as the new paths, forms and media for the external translation and international communication of TCM culture, strengthen the construction of TCM’s global influence and the international communication ability of TCM culture, promote the exchange and mutual-learning between Chinese civilization with TCM culture as its characteristic and world civilizations, explore new strategies and methods for the accurate transmission and effective dissemination of TCM culture overseas, especially in the countries along the “Belt and Road”, and enhance the global understanding, recognition and application of TCM and TCM culture, it is scheduled to hold the “Presidents’ Forum on TCM ‘Going Global’ & the Congress for Re-electing the Specialty Committee of Translation of the WFCMS & the 17th International Academic Conference ” in Nanchang, China from October 10th to 12th, 2025. The conference is hosted by the Specialty Committee of Translation of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, co-hosted by the Educational Instruction Committee of the WFCMS, and undertaken by the School of Humanities of Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, CDUTCM-Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic Co., Ltd., the Research Center for International Communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture of the Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, and CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Science Institute.
